BB72.60 Brushbull Single Spindle Slasher

The Woods Equipment BB72.60 Brushbull Single Spindle Slasher is an extra heavy duty single spindle slasher. It has a 1.83m (6’) cut and has a 100mm diameter cutting capacity. The maximum tractor PTO is 210hp and can come with optional dual wheels. The driveline has a 4 plate slip clutch protection.  3-point reinforced mounted tail wheel and front/rear chain shielding standard.

The 60 series are an extra heavy-duty slasher with a 3-inch output shaft which will rival all extra heavy single spindle slashers on the market.

Woods BB72.60 Brushbull Extra Heavy Duty Single Spindle Slasher

The BrushBull Single Spindle Slasher series (BB Series) are the largest single spindle slashers in the Woods product range. The cutting width of the Woods BrushBull Single Spindle Slasher series ranges from 5’ to 7’ cut and suits tractors with a PTO HP range between 30hp and 250hp. Cutting capacities range from 50mm diameter material to 100mm diameter material. All sizes of BB Series single spindle slashers are available in standard duty option, heavy duty option and extreme heavy duty option with either single or dual tail wheel options.

 

Options available for Woods BrushBull Single Spindle Slashers

All BB Series Single Spindle slashers are available with a side throw option, with an adjustable side discharge shute. The 50 series heavy duty single spindle slasher can be uprated to a series 5, 4 plate slip clutch protection driveline. The 60 series extreme heavy duty single spindle slasher come with the heavy duty series 5 shaft with 4 plate slip clutch protection driveline standard. The 50 series heavy duty single spindle slasher has an option of being galvanised and the 60 series extreme heavy duty single spindle slasher are galvanised standard.

Change blades from above the machine: no risk to operators or maintenance crews of having to get under slasher to change the blades. Slasher does not need to be on stands
Quick Change Blade System removes labour and material to change blades: only light hand tools required to change blades. No oxy or grinding risk
Will not leave a windrow: superior material discharge management as material will be spread evenly across the back of the slasher limiting risk to plant and personnel
38mm blade pin: is 4x stronger than the standard 3/4” bolt on standard slasher. A 3/4” bolt is more likely to wear through and throw blades
Tip Speed is not excessive: Woods tip speed is efficient for design of slasher. Excessive tip speed is not tolerant to hitting objects increasing chances of breaking/throwing blades

38mm blade pin is 4x stronger than standard blade bolt so is slower wearing than others
