Woods DSO10.50W Dual Spindle Slasher
The Woods Dual Spindle Slasher Series ranges from an 8ft cut to a 12ft cut and suits tractors with a PTO HP range between 35hp and 160hp. Cutting capacities range from 38mm diameter material to 75mm diameter material. All sizes of dual spindle slashers come in a standard duty and a heavy duty series. All models are available with a side throw option. The offset series (DSO8.50/DSO10.50) have the following hydraulic variable offset:
8.50 = 530mm right, 125mm left
10.50 = 685mm right, 125mm left
All models come with tail wheels. The 30 and 40 series of Woods Dual Spindle Slashers have 100mm x 400mm laminated tail wheels, with a bushed axel that can be height adjusted. The 50 series have a 125mm x 400mm laminated tail wheel. All drawbar (DS models) slashers have a 25.5 x 8-14 foam filled 20ply ag tyre which are hydraulically height adjustable. The width of the wheels is also adjustable. The 50 series also feature a spring to absorb any load shock from the tail wheels.

Woods Dual Spindle Slashers have a comparable output to a flail mower or mulcher with the benefit of considerably reduced maintenance and running costs. There is a higher volume of work able to be completed with a smaller HP tractor as the cutting width is up to 50% more on a dual spindle compared to a single spindle.
