Woods RC72.20W Single Spindle Slasher
The RC series is a light duty slasher series produced by Woods. The RC series is suitable for tractors ranging between 15hp and 50hp PTO. This series will cut up to 25mm thick material and has a 50hp gearbox. It comes with a 3-year limited gearbox warranty. Woods Equipment is built in the United States of America with American steel. All parts are available in Australia. The RC series of Woods slashers come with a three year warranty on the gear box.
The slashers are built with a contour frame to allow the water and debris from slashing to flow off the deck. This helps protect the top of the slasher from rust. Underneath the slasher the blades are attached to a stump jumping disk. This protects the carrier, unlike other slashers which are designed with cutting beams. Woods Slashers are the only slasher on the market that do not leave a windrow during the operation. The exclusive rounded back design spreads the cut material evenly across the cutting surface.
The blade bolts on RC Series slasher are 1.5’ (38mm) bolts unlike the standard ¾’ (19mm) bolts on other brands of slashers. All models in the RC series come with a tail wheel. The tail wheel frames are three point mounted. The tail wheels are a 100mm x 380mm solid rubber wheel with a bushed hub. Woods slashers come with a heavy-duty clevis hitch. The gear boxes are genuine Woods built gearboxes. When you purchase a Woods slasher, the specified size is the full cutting width. For example, a 5’ slasher is 5’ cut, not a 4’10” like other brands.
